About Eamon Odonnell

I have moved back to my hometown of Ottawa with my young family to be closer to family and friends. I am in the process of changing my career path attending classes at both University of Ottawa and Carleton University in order to be accepted into a Master's of Economics in Sept. This is to add to my Ontario Postgraduate Certificate in Global Business Management from Humber College in Toronto and my Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics from University of Ottawa. I have over 18 years of experience work in the Hospitality Industry, performing numerous jobs from entry level to supervisory level and management roles. I have worked in a wide array of areas including: Five Star Hotels, Resorts, Sporting Arenas, Private Member Golf Course, Restaurants, Bars, and a University Campus. I love to travel, and have lived outside of Canada for many years in Ireland, Australia, and the UK. I have also travelled extensively throughout Europe and Southeast Asia. From my travels and living abroad I have learned a lot from other cultures and found out new innovative ways of doing business. My short term goal is to be successful in my pursuit of a Masters degree in Economics. My longer term goal is to gain employment with either a Government department or a large Financial Institution performing statistical analysis based on economic data.
