I have spent my entire career in sales and sales leadership roles, including the past 27 years as MD/CEO working to grow young technology businesses. During much of that time, I have doubled up as VP Sales with personal responsibility for delivery of high growth sales objectives. I strive to turn technology companies attempting to sell.into sales companies with great technology to offer. I'm delighted to be working with the team at Network ROI to help them in this next phase of growth. When I joined four years ago their annual revenues were only in 5 figures.they are now capable of securing 7 figure sales deals! I led Bloxx as CEO for a decade in the UK and successfully established the business in the USA. When I joined the business had annual revenue of £30k. Thirteen years later and with hundreds of clients, the business was successfully sold to Akamai Inc of Cambridge Mass for an eight figure sum. At Avvio, an Irish Company that develops hotel booking engine and revenue management systems, I spent three years establishing the company in the UK as premium choice for hotels driving direct booking revenue. After several years of static sales, my three years in charge saw growth of some 65% and the UK established as the key market it is today. I am passionate about professional selling skills and sales organisation being the foundation stone of growing businesses successfully. I focus on maximising what we can achieve through the skills and efforts of the team within and strive to banish references to negative external challenges outside our control. I am proud to have steered sales success across my various responsibilities and been recognised by Deloitte's Technology Fast 50/EMEA 500 (identifying the fastest growing businesses) no less than ten times. I have never delivered a negative sales year result in my life, even in the toughest economic times and where internal challenges have had to be overcome. I was delighted to be a semi finalist in Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year 2009.
