In 2004 after an eye opening experience with my own health insurance concerning my daughter, I asked myself a question: Is it possible that there is a better way to fund our healthcare? Do we really NEED health insurance or just THINK we do? Is it possible that we are spending more, much more for health insurance than health care costs? Can we directly fund our health cares systems just like we fund our electric power companies and other utilities we all need and use? Is it necessary some of worlds most productive and innovative and wealthiest people on the planet to pay someone one else to pay for something they want? Is it possible that we have been lead to believe that healthcare is expensive when actually it is not anymore expensive than food or electricity or gasoline? Could healthcare actually be as relatively as inexpensive as our cell phones and yet just as technologically advanced? I believe it is not only possible; I believe it is probable and I believe we have been tricked. The insurance industry has known this fact all along. You do not need insurance to get excellent health care. And, I am going to prove it. It's not going to be easy to do, but if it is God's will, it will get done.
