Hi hi, I'm Eba. I am an editor based in Brooklyn, New York, and I've spent more than 15 years working with news organizations and nonprofits across the U.S. as a journalist, digital editor and audience engagement specialist. I'm a copy editor at heart. I'm currently the director of audience for Chalkbeat, Votebeat and Healthbeat, nonprofit newsrooms dedicated to covering public education, voting access and public health in local markets across the country, and where I lead a remarkable team of engagement, audience and data specialists. I'm truly lucky to work with them. I care deeply about community, about accessibility and about helping people find the news and information they seek to live their best, most informed lives.
