Background

About Ebba Eriksson

EU Projects Officer at the European Forum of Farm Animal Breeders (EFFAB). Passionate about sustainable agricultural practices and innovation. Graduated with First Class Honours, MAgrSc Agricultural Extension and Innovation at University College Dublin. Researched European family farmers’ attitudes towards big data tools, examining adoption drivers, barriers, and support needs. With a background in EU agriculture and international research projects, I contribute to multi-partner initiatives that drive innovation in livestock and aquaculture farming. At EFFAB, I manage project planning and delivery, build and maintain stakeholder relationships, and transform complex research into accessible tools, workshops, and communication formats that support knowledge transfer and uptake - making an impact on farm, research, industry, and policy levels. I also speak at conferences, webinars, and international meetings, representing projects and driving collaboration across initiatives. Previously, I worked in communications at the International Dairy Federation, Future Earth, and Stockholm Environment Institute, where I advanced stakeholder engagement and created strategic content for global projects.
