About Ebonee Nicholas

Through my experience in customer service and my studies I have come to realise that I want a career that challenges me to better myself and gives me the opportunity to help others. In 2015 I commenced study at Federation University in a bachelor of commerce with the idea of becoming a financial planner. In the year I was there I discovered more about myself than I ever thought possible and found some inspirational teachers that made me love Law. I believe I romanticised the idea of studying law as the reality was not what I thought it would be. I am questioning if I want to keep exploring law so I have decided to take a break from my studies and gain valuable experience in living and working in Canada for a year. I did this before in 2009 to 2011, a working holiday in United Kingdom meeting many different people and working as a kitchen hand, waitress, bartender and housekeeper. My experience in United Kingdom gave me purpose and a better sense of myself. So as I was turning 30 in 2017 I hoped to gain this purpose again and be refreshed and ready to continue with law when I get back or find a new path to travel. After settling in back home and riding out covid I have found a new path in pre-hospital care. I plan to become a paramedic in the next 4 years with the goal of finding work in New Zealand and UK in the next 7-10 years.
