About Eboni Russell

As a Program Therapist at Eating Recovery Center, I provided group therapy to young adults with eating disorders and other mental health issues. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, dietitians, and nurses to deliver evidence-based and holistic care. I also facilitate psychoeducational and skills-based workshops on topics such as body image, self-esteem, and coping strategies. I am passionate about mental health counseling and advocacy, especially for children and young adults who face multiple challenges and barriers. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Medgar Evers College, CUNY, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have developed strong communication, critical thinking, and planning skills through my academic, extracurricular, and professional projects. I am eager to learn from experienced mental health practitioners and to apply my knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on the lives of my clients.
