About Eboni Smith

I come from a family background of Criminal Justice professions. My grandfather was a police officer, my grandmother was a Dispatcher, and my mother currently pursuing her degree in Criminal Psychology. You could say Criminal Justice is in my blood. This background helped me develop people skills at a young age with participating in community events such as community panels and volunteering with mentoring domestic violence children. I collaborate in arranging event speakers in the Criminal Justice field to come share their experiences in their careers with first year students. I would like to encourage students, more specifically other minorities who have an interest becoming Law Enforcement, Lawyers, Crime Scene Investigators, etc. to join the Criminal Justice field. I have a deep rooted passion that was passed down to me for helping people in need. This passion was instilled in me, by both family and current professors, to keep close ties and a positive relationship with the community to build trust and a personal bond.
