About Ebony Chatman

With over 21 years of work experience, I am a passionate and skilled behavioral health nurse instructor and curriculum writer at the US Army. My mission is to educate, train, and empower the next generation of military nurses, and to develop and update evidence-based and culturally responsive curricula in behavioral health. I value teamwork, excellence, and leadership, and I strive to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team. As a behavioral health nurse instructor and curriculum writer, I design, deliver, and evaluate courses and programs that cover topics such as addiction, mental health, trauma, crisis intervention, and resilience. I also collaborate with other instructors, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure the quality and relevance of the curricula. Some of my skills include direct patient care, nursing, inpatient care, and curriculum development.
