About Ebony Millard

I am a qualified counsellor with broad experience supporting individuals living with serious mental illness across community, clinical, AoD and youth-focused settings. My work has included roles within the mental health sector including community living support for refugees and the HASI program, supporting individuals and their families experiencing complex mental health challenges.Throughout my career, I have delivered individual counselling, facilitated group therapy, and designed therapeutic programs including exercise, self-care, and mindfulness initiatives to support recovery and wellbeing. Alongside these roles, I maintained a private counselling practice, further strengthening my clinical skills.I later moved into early intervention case work with young people, deepening my focus on youth engagement and strengths-based support. For the past 18 months, I have worked as an Aftercare Case Manager at Triple Care Farm residential rehab, supporting young people transitioning from residential treatment to build independence and maintain positive recovery pathways.I am passionate about recovery-oriented practice, early and targeted intervention, and empowering people to create meaningful, sustainable change.
