The Gambia's Leading GSM provider, where I delved into the intricate world of programming and software development. During my tenure, I was deeply involved in diverse projects, ranging from real-time systems for workforce management to the enhancement of the company's digital presence. These experiences honed my technical skills and instilled in me a passion for crafting innovative solutions to complex problems. Transitioning into consultancy with the United Nations Development Program provided me with a platform to contribute meaningfully to critical initiatives in my home country, The Gambia. Working on projects for the Government of The Gambia, such as developing the Office of the President's website and implementing a geographical information system for the police force, underscored my ability to leverage technology for governance, law enforcement, and societal development. My current role as a data management support staff at the Medical Research Council at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine has been particularly rewarding. Here, I have overseen the data lifecycle of numerous clinical trials and observational studies, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Notably, my co-authorship of a groundbreaking publication titled "Histoplasma Seropositivity and Environmental Risk Factors for Exposure in a General Population in Upper River Region, The Gambia: A Cross-sectional Study" in The Lancet Infectious Diseases, alongside Dr. Tessa Rose Cornell, highlights my proficiency in clinical data management and collaborative research.
