About Ed Carreon

The story is bigger than the brand. I am a Los Angeles photographer specializing in editorial and corporate portraiture, industrial photography, architecture and telling visual stories for corporate, advertising and editorial clients. I can tell your story. I began my career as a photojournalist covering news, social issues and conflict in Latin America and Los Angeles where I worked as a staff photographer for the Orange County Register and later as a freelancer for SIPA Press, the New York Times, NewsWeek and Newhouse News Service. After graduating from shooting news I began taking commercial and editorial clients where I used my narrative and portrait skills in annual reports, branding campaigns, public awareness campaigns. Some of my past and current clients include: Veolia, Gilead Sciences, Target, Discovery Channel, HerbaLife, ACE Insurance, Lexis Nexis, MetWest, Aristotle, Wells Fargo, Union Bank, Chase Bank, National Dominion. GE, National Geographic, Life, Weyerhaeuser, Owens Corning, Tremco, UCLA, USC, Stanford Univ, National Geographic, Time, Newsweek, Forbes, Fortune, etc. My work ranges from work for for public service and branding campaigns to magazine covers for business, trade and alumni magazines. I excel at environmental portraiture, narrative photography, business lifestyle and photographing dwellings. I serve both Los Angeles based and National clients. Specialties Include: Narrative Photography, Portrait Photography, photojournalism, story telling, corporate photography and industrial photography. I've also done done pro-bono work for Rosie's Garage, Big Sunday and Young Photographer's Aliance (YPA) where he served as mentor. Currently I am a photographer in Los Angeles and enjoy drinking green tea, learning about astro physics, cosmology, bicycling and spending time with his family.
