As a senior leader at the intersection of business strategy, product design, and commercialization for two of Visa’s payment management product lines—CyberSource and Authorize.Net—I’ve been privileged to help connect that long-standing blend of brand value and trust with the promise of today’s customer insight practices and technologies. Together with my colleagues and our partners, we’re enabling sellers to deliver innovative and engaging experiences to consumers around the world. Prior to Visa, I spent more than a decade helping Schwab’s cash and cash management product lines carve out new ways to deepen customer relationships—initiating a shift that not only empowered people to take ownership of their financial futures, but led to a 20-fold lift in bank balances and created a long-term source of recurring revenue. Beginning my career as an Arnold & Porter lawyer and a McKinsey consultant gave me the runway to serve as both blue-sky strategist and pragmatic operator, a balance that has proven critical to my work in product design and commercialization, customer segmentation and insights, and business and brand strategy. Outside the office, I’m passionate about education and economic development, with experience as Treasurer and Board Member of the San Francisco Education Fund, the largest source of trained volunteers serving the specific needs of teachers and students in San Francisco Public Schools. I am also an amateur, small-scale farmer and obsessive baseball fan.
