About Ed Coumou

Ed Coumou is a Marketing Communications Exec and Graphic Designer with broad management and hands-on experience in all aspects of marketing, advertising, graphic design, branding, copy writing, illustration, web development, and PR. Founder of CPF Marketing Communications (Seattle) 1982. Mr. Coumou's career background includes executive level positions at advertising agencies and creative firms. He is the founder of CPF Marketing Communications (Seattle), serving regional, national and international clients since 1982. His professional history includes work for such national accounts as Blue Cross, Safeco Insurance, Alyeska Pipeline, Altec, Heart Interface, Propet Shoes, Microlon, Arminox, SeaLand, BibleSoft, banks, manufacturers, government agencies, retailers, non-profits and many others. Ed was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (Holland) and lived in Indonesia for eight years in his early youth. After surviving a revolution there, he moved back to Holland with his family, subsequently immigrating to the US in his teen years. He studied at the University of Idaho for five years, majoring in Business, focusing on Marketing and Advertising. He speaks English, Dutch, German and rudimentary Spanish. Ed has excellent communication skills and years of experience in public speaking and presentations. He has traveled world-wide and done business in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
