Extensive experience providing instrumentation & control systems design and electrical field engineering services on new and brownfield projects including refineries, petrochemical plants, LNG plants, nuclear power plants, Space Shuttle and Space Station.• Experience leading large numbers of I&C Designers to safe and successful completion of all design deliverables.• Experience with SIS, DCS, Fire & Gas detection systems including Honeywell Experion C300, Honeywell safety manager and universal I/O. Provided guidance to 3D modelers and attended client 3D model reviews.• Experience with vendor equipment packages, vendor doc checking, factory acceptance tests, vendor equipment installation and mods in the field.• I&C field experience includes creating mod packages, answer RFI’s, inspect materials, attend client walkdowns, assist commissioning, troubleshooting, as-building, and design support during the warranty period after startup.• Electrical field experience includes electrical schematics, inspecting high voltage bus installations, interpreting electrical design drawings and specifications, verifying and documenting code/spec compliance of cable installations and terminations, verification of materials, testing of electrical installations, and technical direction to field electricians.• Worked with Autocad 2016, Microstation V8, SmartPlant Instrumentation (INtools) Ver. 7, SP3D Review, Navisworks, Documentum, IDOCS, MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint software among many others.• Utilized ISA, NEC, IEC, PIP, ANSI/ASME, NASA, customer and company standards during design efforts.• Worked in both office and field construction environments as Electrical Field Engineer, Lead Principal I&C Designer, I&C Designer and Draftsman.
