About Ed Galati

My experience includes over 25 years of archiving biological specimens for over clients worldwide. I am in charge of scheduling client inspections and consulting with potential clients, arranging material pickups and transportation logistics worldwide and evaluating equipment performance. In conjunction with HSRL’s Quality Assurance Unit, I maintain the archives’ Quality Control Program including: writing, updating and adherence to SOPs. I perform and assist in the actual procedures of all aspects of the archiving process. I appraise and maintain all archives procedures and the working environment in a healthy and safe manner, in accordance with company policy and OSHA requirements. I hire and train all employees, and perform performance evaluations. I attend several symposia each year including: Society of Toxicology, Society of Toxicologic Pathology, Society of Experimental Biology, Society of Quality Assurance, American College of Toxicology, National Society for Histotechnology, American College of Veterinary Pathologists and American Society of Investigative Pathology. Specialties: I specialize in invaluable attention to detail and adherence to FDA and EPA regulations. With over 25 years of experience in transportation and shipping logistics worldwide I will ensure your material will be attended to from the pickup of your material through customs and brokering (if needed) until your material arrives safely at our facility. I will be sure your material is archived in the most efficient manner while maintaining the highest level of quality for long or short-term storage.
