About Ed Hendricks

Ed Hendricks is a Senior Data Engineer who most recently at Verizon Communication for the past 14 years focused on Big Data collection and reporting. This includes a 70+ terabyte database he designed and was hands-on throughout its development. At same time as a result of the many mergers and acquisitions, Ed has become an expert at system integrations. Ed has over 30 years of experience designing and modeling processes, databases and applications. He utilizes the Agile and Dev/Ops design and development process. He has designed and implemented several OLTP to OLAP database models including 3NF, Star, Snowflake and Pulsar (column stores and row stores). He is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Billing Systems, Finance Reporting Systems, Tax Applications, Desktop Reporting and SOX/Governance Reporting. He has extensive software programming experiences most recently in.Net and MS SQL. server, He has experience in data warehousing and creating desktop reporting BOTs for recurring financial reporting, dashboard metrics and governance, Most recently working with RSA Archer. He has led many technical teams and earned many awards in the past. He is known for meeting deadlines and meeting delivery expectation. He is is strong team leader and teammate. He has excellent communication skills and known as problem solver. He has experiences with many ERP systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials, Cost Point, NetSuite and more)
