INTERNAL PROJECTS Many integrations, including creating a protected site to allow non-staff bloggers to file directly to newspaper CMS and avoid extensive training yet still produce valid and complicated XML; and a 12-year-old system to collect and publish high school sports box scores on the web and in the paper. Metro disruptions database: Wrote scraping engine that visits the Metrorail reports of train delays and turns text files into a searchable database. Internal newspaper users can search for events on particular day or rail line.
