I lead VWV's Litigation and Restructuring teams, which advise on all aspects of commercial litigation and corporate recovery, both contentious and advisory and corporate and personal. The insolvency team act on behalf of insolvency practitioners from a range of practices, from the Big 4 through to sole practitioners, as well as, financial institutions, companies, directors, suppliers, creditors, and other stakeholders affected by company insolvency. The litigation team advises on a wide range of disputes and I have particular experience in advising on: energy disputes (I also lead VWV's energy team which acts for, amongst others, one of the big 6 utility suppliers); corporate, shareholder and partnership litigation; charities litigation; asset protection and debt recovery; high value contractual and fraud claims; and professional negligence disputes (both claimant and defendant). I look for pragmatic solutions for clients and although I have conducted matters at every level of the English legal system through to the Supreme Court, I am increasingly involved in other forms of dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration.
