I am an employment and discrimination law specialist with cross-disciplinary expertise across a wide range of legal fields. I regularly work on difficult and ground breaking cases at every level of court all the way up to the Supreme Court and Strasbourg. I am consistently ranked in tier 1 of the Legal 500 UK and listed as one of the leading employment juniors at the London Bar. I am also ranked in tier 1 as a leading junior for commercial disputes in the Middle East in the 2021 edition of the Legal 500 EMEA guide. I came Highly Commended for Junior Counsel of the Year at the inaugural 2023 International Employment Lawyer Awards. I was shortlisted for Employment Junior of the Year in the Legal 500 Awards 2020. I am recognised as a leader in my field in Chambers & Partners and have been ranked in both of the leading directories for many years. I have specialist industry expertise in the health care sector, the police, local government and the city. A large part of my practice centres on cases with an international element or legal disputes involving cutting edge points at the interface between domestic and European law. My practice is also international. I have acted as leading counsel in an intervention before the European Court of Human Rights. I have appeared in many leading employment cases in the DIFC's Court of First Instance and the Court of Appeal in Dubai and I have full rights of audience to appear as an advocate in that jurisdiction.
