About Ed Kulesa

Edward C. Kulesa, MPA is the current Executive Director for Clinical Network Development at St. George's University School of Medicine. He is the former President & CEO of Black Coral Holdings, Inc, a Miami-based consulting firm which specialized in Medical Education Strategic Planning, Organizational Development, and Project Management. He is the former Vice President of Operations at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine (AUC). Prior to re-joining AUC, Mr. Kulesa was the Director of Clinical Strategy & Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education at DeVry Medical International (DMI) from 2012-2014.Mr. Kulesa also served as the Assistant Clinical Dean at American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine from 2010 – 2012. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science from Florida Atlantic University in 1985, and Master Degree in Health Care Administration from Long Island University – CW Post Campus in 1997, Summa cum laude. Mr. Kulesa has had an extensive and varied health care management career with a proven track record of success in the areas of public health, disease prevention & control, health research and medical school / hospital administration. After obtaining initial positions within local and state health bureaus including The Westchester County Health Department, Aids Institute, and Health Research Inc, he implemented the first Disease Prevention and Control Bureau in Rockland County, New York for the New York State Health Department from 1989-1997. He has also held various positions in medical school / hospital administration including Ross University School of Medicine from and Wyckoff Heights Medical Center from 2001 – 2005 as the Director of External Affairs and Government Relations. He has held several key positions within AUC including Northeast Regional Director, Assistant Clinical Dean and Vice President of Operations.
