About Ed Lee

As Director and Co-Founder of Bowbridge, I provide strategic, financial, M&A and operational advice to businesses and their owners in preparation for and delivery of sale, fundraise or refinancing. Where shareholders are looking to exit, we work with them and their management team to prepare for a sale, including optimising performance, pre-empting and addressing diligence issues, appointing advisors and managing the sale process. For earlier stage businesses, we work alongside business owners to design, fund and implement growth initiatives, supporting them on strategy and through the fundraise journey. We are backed by private capital and can actively participate in funding. We then support businesses in the longer-term on their path to ultimate exit, which may be a 3-5 year partnership. Prior to founding Bowbridge, I was a Director in KPMG’s market-leading Private Equity Deal Advisory team, advising on a range of sell-side, buy-side, IPO, restructuring and refinancing mandates. Before joining KPMG in 2011, I worked for R&H, a leading private client advisory business, advising family offices, UHNWIs and entrepreneurs on their business affairs. Throughout my career I have focused on understanding what drives a business, how to unlock value and how to navigate complex business issues and transitions, working with some of the most successful and high-profile international businesses. I am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and an Expert on Business Strategy for Ispahani Advisory.
