Ph.D. in organic chemistry and MBA. Possessing strong technical and commercial acumen, I am experienced in business development, new product development, technical services, applications development, business management, sales and marketing and strategic planning. While my entire career has been spent in the specialty chemicals and specialty materials industries, I have had exposure to many different markets with significant global experience, including living outside of the United States. Areas of expertise include plastics and polymers, biobased chemicals, textiles and nanotechnology and I have had exposure to animal nutrition and hygiene, adhesives, coatings, personal care products, biotechnology, alternative energy and medical diagnostics. I am well versed in various types of legal agreements, including non-disclosure, joint development and negotiated exclusivity agreements, and have had broad exposure to intellectual property protection strategies.
