About Ed McNally

Edward McNally earned his BS EET from DeVry Institute of Technology in Dallas in 1984. Edward went on to earn his MBA, with the emphasis on International Business, from Regis University in Denver, Colorado in 2004. Edward began his career in 1984 with ITT Federal Systems, Vandenberg AFB, CA as a Range Safety Engineer assigned to the Minuteman and MX Missile Systems Group. In 1985, Edward was recruited by Raytheon Missiles System Division, MA as a Design Engineer for the PATRIOT missile defense system, spending several years in Japan as a technical liaison between Raytheon and the Japan Defense Agency. In 1989, Edward returned to the States to join Johnson Yokogawa as a Controls System Engineer. In 1991, Edward left the defense business and entered the Nonwovens world by joining a small startup company, J and M Laboratories, GA. Initially a Sales Engineer for the US, Edward went on to gain responsibility for sales of J and M’s Meltblown, Spunbond and SMS equipment provisions globally. As Sales Director Nonwoven at Oerlikon Nonwoven (Germany), Edward continues to be responsible for these activities today (surviving two business segment acquisitions, 1998 by Nordson and 2006 by Saurer/Oerlikon). Edward has traveled internationally extensively (exceeding 3 million miles on Delta alone), authored many nonwovens publications and has presented at numerous nonwovens expos and conferences. Edward resides with his wife Stephanie and 4 children in the foothills of northern Georgia.
