I am a consultant in Protiviti's Financial Services Industry Technology Consulting practice. Protiviti is a global business and technology consulting and internal audit firm composed of experts specializing in risk, technology, advisory and transaction services. We help solve problems in finance and transactions, operations, technology, litigation, governance, risk, and compliance. I have more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, serving in a broad variety of IT leadership roles, both as an industry IT executive and a software and IT services provider. Prior to joining Protiviti, I served as Retail Bank CIO and Enterprise Chief Architect at Capital One, where I focused on merger and acquisition integrations, business and IT transformation, and enterprise data. Prior to that, I served as Business Information Officer at National City Bank, where I designed and implemented a multi-year Core Banking Renewal Program that created a foundation for innovation for both the Retail and Commercial Bank lines of business. Earlier in my career, I spent over 15 years with a large, international IT services firm providing software development, systems integration, merger and acquisition support, and application management services to financial services companies across the U.S, including Bank of America. I am a former Chair of the Large Financials Advisory Board for Fidelity Information Services, and I have served on the IT advisory board of two major universities, most recently Virginia Commonwealth University.
