The highlight of my career was my tenure at the University of California Davis working in the Building Maintenance and Construction Division acting as an Inspector, Planner, Estimator/ Project Manager. I was part of the team responsible for Campus wide Quality Assurance and project inspections to insure project compliance and quality. I was the direct liaison between Operations & Maintenance, outside consultants, Architects & Engineers and EH & S for renovation and construction projects including infrastructure. Develop and implement the “Zone Concept Model”, and specializing in Risk Management issues University wide. Notably: Advising, and working with, Risk Management Services and insurances adjusters during catastrophic events on campus. Including and not limited to: Initial inspections and mobilization of all trades during and after the event Developing the scope of work, remediation and panning the removal of contaminated building materials including asbestos, lead and mold rebuilding of the structure and replacing lab equipment and specialty equipment after the event extensive correspondences with the insurance company’s and the Office of the President tracking all expenses for reimbursements
