About Ed Robins

I love getting value for money in all aspects of life - including every project I am involved in. I provide construction cost advice across various sectors from feasibility through to handover. My determination, motivation, and realistic approach to projects and life, in general, have created a high-performing and committed team. I strongly believe communication and an enthusiastic team is vital to success of any project to achieve the client’s and the design team’s objectives. I actively shape design decisions, find the most efficient design, and ensure costs accurately reflect the market through my strong relationships and communication with contractors. With over a decade of experience, I focus on proactive cost management and risk mitigation early in the design phase. My experience with a diverse range of public and private sector clients underpins my sound understanding of sector specific risks, challenges, and the hidden costs in complex high-value projects. I am committed to building strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to add value, and keeping stakeholders well-informed of design decisions and impacts on the construction costs from feasibility through to handover. I am a Certified Quantity Surveyor (CQS) and graduated with a Bachelor of Construction Project Management from the University of Technology Sydney with First Class Honors. I was notably awarded the Master Builders Association (MBA) Best Student Estimator of the Year award and have been a long-time Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MAIQS). I enjoy meeting new people in the industry, so please feel free to connect with me or drop me a line.
