About Ed Trauffer

Edward Trauffer is a Senior Intellectual Property and Technical Executive with extensive experience in the global pharmaceutical and chemical industries. He has led cross functional global IP teams for development and support of generic pharmaceutical product strategies as well as a staff of patent professionals in the U.S. and Israel for U.S. market IP and technical guidance. Dr. Trauffer was most recently with Teva Pharmaceuticals in Horsham, PA. where he held positions as Senior Director of Americas IP and Senior Director/Director of Legal Affairs. Prior to Teva, he was with Quaker Chemical Corporation in Conshohocken, PA as Manager of multiple functional areas including Biotechnology, Global Research and Development, Patents, Commercial Development-Environmental Products and Quality Assurance. Dr. Trauffer holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Villanova University, an M.S. in Analytical Chemistry from St. Joseph’s University, and a B.A. in Chemistry from La Salle College.
