About Ed Wallace

Ed is currently Head of Experience Design at Capgemini. Prior to this he worked as a service designer in the Digital Customer Experience team at Capgemini, where he helped clients explore how new business opportunities can be inspired from, and driven by, technology. Before this he was Head of Innovation at Macmillan Cancer Support where he managed a team of service designers to develop the range of practical and emotional support offered to people living with cancer. Prior to this he was the Head of Research & Innovation at Optivo and Research & Innovation Manager at Viridian Housing. In both organisations he managed teams that used research and innovation to drive service improvement; and the development of new products, services and ways of working. Prior to this he was a Development Manager in Nesta’s Innovation Lab where he worked on programmes that focused on using innovation to transform public services. Before joining Nesta he was Head of Engagement at the London Borough of Camden where he managed the council's corporate engagement and consultation function. Ed’s skills offer a particular focus on social innovation methods, research and evaluation, impact measurement and service and new product development. He has considerable experience working with members, senior management, key stakeholders and service users, an excellent network of contacts, and can turn first-class analytical skills and creativity thinking into deliverable outcomes and benefits.
