About Ed White

I have more than 10 years of teaching experience, mainly in music, but have branched to myriad other disciplines such as the sport of Ultimate. I have ample experience gained through leading a touring band, running a production company, working with the disabled, and playing competitive sports, which round out the many skills necessary to a workplace, such as working with others and achieving high levels of efficiency. The responsibilities that come with these positions and activities directly result in better understanding of interpersonal relations, commitment to common goals, and greatly improve written and oral communication skills, which I believe are necessary skills to master for any position. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, and substantial experience in performing and teaching for both large and small audiences, I have a strong understanding of the connection between humans and the art they create or consume. I know first-hand how much music and other forms of art shape people across cultures and ages, and look forward to sharing all these exciting possibilities with future generations.
