About Ed Wilson

Ed Wilson is an entrepreneurial media executive who moves seamlessly between traditional and emerging media and gracefully from the executive boardroom to the free-thinking space of content and talent development. He is known for his ability to navigate complex business challenges while remaining attuned to the ever-evolving media landscape. With extensive experience as President of FOX Television Network, NBC Enterprises, CBS Enterprises, Tribune Broadcasting, and Chief Revenue Officer of Tribune Corp, Wilson has developed deep relationships across the industry. Currently, Wilson is the Founder of the Fifth Partners Growth Fund, a media investment firm focused on supporting the growth of innovative companies. He is also Executive Chairman of NPACT, the leading trade organization for non-fiction production companies, and founder of Dreamcatcher Media, a company dedicated to developing and promoting emerging talent in the industry. Wilson served on the board of Southern Methodist University for 12 years, and he currently remains on the executive board of the Cox School of Business. In addition, he serves on the board of Extreme Reach and Sipricol, and is also a member of the advisory board at the Walton Business School at the University of Arkansas. A native of Rison, Arkansas and University of Arkansas alumnus (BS/BA Finance), Wilson resides in Los Angeles.
