About Ed Worts

I am a former Marine who has been trying to transition into the IT field from the Food Service industry for the past 10 years. I have always had a thirst for wanting to know how things work, especially computers. In addition to developing and honing my IT skillset, I have also developed and honed certain soft skills due to my experiences in Food Service. These soft skills will definitely help me as I continue to pursue a career in IT. My experience in IT includes troubleshooting and repairing computers and peripherals, as well as setting up home-based computer networks. I also had some desktop support experience as well as being introduced to some experience in telecommunications. I have passed the CompTIA A+ and Security+ exam, as well as had some training in Cisco. I love technology and all that it beholds. Sometimes I think that technology is moving faster than the speed of light. It is a herculean feat to keep up with it, but I am more than up for the challenge. In this day and age, it's all about the 1's and 0's!
