Brand, marketing and packaging designer, specialising in practical design solutions for new products and engaging brands, specialising in wine and spirits. Former Head of Design at Majestic Wine and Design Director at Prophet Brand Strategy, with over twenty years of experience in design, branding, marketing and packaging. As Head of Design at Barlow & Co. my role is to help create and develop brands to commercial success, from concept to delivery. I work as part of the Barlow & Co. leadership team to deliver engaging creative and smart strategy for clients, as well as direct and support the design team to deliver award-winning creative solutions. As a designer and consultant I have been working on the brand and packaging for Laylo, a premium boxed wine in a beautiful and sustainable package, a new range of curated spirits and a premium English wine brand. I have also working as a freelance Design Director for brand and strategy teams across Canada, New York and London on a variety of corporate brand projects. Previously Head of Design at Majestic Wine, the UK's largest specialist retailer of wine, taking customers on a journey of wine discovery. Working across all parts of the PLC business, and responsible for designing new business initiatives, creating new product brands and delivering personalised and engaging marketing campaigns across all channels. Former Design Director at Prophet, London. Joined Prophet Brand Strategy in 2012 as part of a merger with Figtree London and worked on global branding projects for Electrolux, Halyard Health, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Qubit, Green Mountain Coffee and Velocys. Over five years experience working at NB Studio, London on projects for clients including the Tate, V&A, Museum of London, INSEAD, Chivas Regal and Beefeater Gin. In 2011 I spent a year in Sydney, Australia working with creative studios, including Re, M&C Saatchi and Interbrand. Founder of Grogger.co.uk, and online degustation of wine and design, and hosts of many rambunctious tastings for enthusiastic amateurs at agencies including It's Nice That and The Clearing.
