About Ed Zawora

As a Programs Manager at Drexel University, I am part of the exhibition design team for Electrified, 50 Years of Electric Factory. This major exhibition showcases the history and impact of Philadelphia's iconic music venue. I manage the planning and implementation of programming for the exhibition's duration, requiring coordination between various college departments and off-campus organizations. I also assist with the exhibition planning, content creation, and installation, collaborating with the Executive Director, Curator, Immersive Developer, Graphic Designer, and other responsible parties. I have over 19 years of experience as a graphic and web designer, providing freelance services for various clients in the Philadelphia area. I also have over five years of experience as a Program Director at Harcum College, where I oversaw a new Digital Design program launch, and as a Graphic Design Professor, teaching various design courses. I have a Master of Science degree in Art Administration and Museum Leadership (Dec 2023) from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, with a minor in Graphic Design, from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. I have received multiple teaching awards, including the PAPSA Instructor of the Year 2013 and the ACCSC Commitment to Education Award 2013. I am passionate about design, arts, museums, and education, and I strive to create innovative, engaging, and effective design and exhibition projects that serve community needs.
