About Eda Tan

Eda is an enthusiastic radiation therapist and healthcare leader with successful completion of both the CAMRT and ARRT exams. Eda has experience with the use and quality assurance of Elekta (Infinity, Synergy & Perfexion) and Varian (Truebeam and iX) linear accelerators, GE, Philips & Toshiba CT Simulators and Gulmay orthovoltage machine. Eda is trained in specialized areas of the Radiation Therapy Department and has many years of experience on the treatment units, in CT simulation, Brachytherapy as well as Dosimetry. She also has experience using the following specialized treatment techniques: IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SABR, FSRT, Brachytherapy, SRS, TBI as well as the use of a hexapod bed or Active Breathing Control device for radiation therapy treatment. Eda is accurate and efficient with MV, kV and CBCT IGRT imaging modalities for various treatment techniques. Eda is also experienced with various types of medical software: MOSAIQ, Argus QA, Aria, Cerner and CAIS radiation oncology information system, Eclipse, Pinnacle and XiO treatment planning software. Overall, Eda is a compassionate individual with strong leadership skills and an educational background in adult education and project management principles. She has excellent interpersonal skills and has the ability to bring staff together to proficiently provide ongoing patient assessments that is tailored to the patient's needs.
