Mr. Ponce currently serves as the CCO of ZenSports, a brand of KeyStar Corp (KEYR). Previous to that, he served as CCO of TradeZero Crypto as well as CCO of Coinme. Prior to that, he served as the Global Head of Compliance for Emergent Technology responsible for development and oversight of the global compliance and AML programs for Responsible Gold, G-Coin Wallet & Token as well as the development and rollout of the company’s country specific AML programs in the US and various markets in Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. He has also served as Head of the Global Compliance Program at Moneygram. He then served as SVP, Enterprise Strategy for CRB where he was responsible for focusing on high risk points of exposure involving legal, regulatory & operational challenges to mitigate both fiscal and reputational impact. He also held the role of SVP, Regulatory Compliance where he was responsible for the development & oversight of the regulatory compliance program including both consumer compliance & safety & soundness. He has also served as Director of Compliance for KBC bank’s U.S. subsidiary & affiliate companies then served as Director of the Global Compliance program for First Data/Western Union’s affiliate & subsidiary money transfer companies. In this capacity, he was responsible for the development & management of the U.S. & International AML program, oversight of all U.S. & international exams, licensing, remediation efforts & expansion. Before that, he served as VP of Compliance for WAMU’s non-prime mortgage-banking subsidiary & was an integral member of the product development team. He also brings experience from the securities & insurance industry including the development of Pacific Life’s Corporate Compliance & division level compliance programs.
