About Eddy Beya.

Eddy Beya is a public health professional with over 15 years of progressively responsible experience in designing, implementing, managing health projects, specially in developing countries such as DRC and Cameroon, and conflict-affected regions and within fragile health systems(e.g, North region of Cameroon, East province of DRC), focusing on Comprehensive HIV/AIDS and TB programs including those funded by PEPFAR. He is able to support efforts on strengthening health system through USAID funded project (e.g, IHP, MIHR in DRC) including developing effective working relationship in multicultural setting with Government, bilateral and multilateral donors( e.g, Word bank, Packard Foundation, BMGF, CIFF, FCDO, CHAI), and civil society and demonstrated expertise in implementing SRMN/FP, AYSRH) and GBV programs. This experience was acquired thanks to various positions held as technical officer and Clinical Advisor for ICAP DRC under CDC/PEPFAR funded project, and Technical Director for ICAP Cameroon under CDC/PEPFAR funded and currently as Deputy Country Director for Pathfinder International. In these roles, I his able to provide technical vision, strategic leadership and direction to country office, implementing and monitoring and evaluation of health projects health, including proficiency in developing and implementing guidelines, M&E plans, Resource mobilization and Technical Assistance to MOH and local organizations. As additional abilities, strong leadership, Flexibility, Equity and Ethic, strong negotiation skills, proven experience in a demanding work environment requiring high levels of precision and experience in decision-making, focus, fast thinking, and learner, innovative, accountable team members spirit. Proficient in French (native and full professional), English (working proficiency), Lingala and Swahili (native proficiency)
