About Eddy Chavez

I am excited to work as the Communications Coordinator for the Seattle LGBTQ+ Center. Working in digital media is truly a dream come true for me, and I look forward to this role's challenges and opportunities. As the Communications Coordinator, I am responsible for creating, managing, and executing all creative projects related to communication and public relations. This work includes designing and implementing marketing initiatives, creating traditional and digital media content, and developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. I am incredibly excited to work closely with The AMP: AIDS Memorial Pathway. This project is close to my heart, as it honors and remembers those we have lost due to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Seattle and Washington State. Through this work, I will have the opportunity to use my love of design and communication to create a safe, welcoming space that celebrates the lives of LGBTQ+ communities. I am thrilled to be part of the Seattle LGBTQ+ Center and eager to contribute my skills to these important causes. Together, we can create a more equitable future for our community.
