About Eddy Vindigni

I am Dad of four brilliant children and a determined European and Italian Patent, Trademark and Design Attorney + European Patent Litigator (UPC). Currently, I am helping my company to develop an efficient IP strategy. My passion are software patents! When I draft a patent, I like to define a well-structured legal framework using different claim types, in order to obtain a robust scope of protection for a new invention. As in-house IP Counsel, I am broadening my IP knowledge, and acquiring experience in employee invention, Patent Value, licence agreements. I see myself as an empathetic, smiley, optimistic person and my way of being helped me to develop in my career, a particular tact and perspicacity in dealing with clients of the Firms where I worked. Concurrently I am capable of working on my own initiative. I like to organize daily tasks in an efficient way for me and for who cooperate with me, even in complex scenarios. My career began after my Engineering Master degree at the University of Padua (Italy). Following my university years, I worked as an Expert of the Italian Court of Venice in Civil litigations, rapidly acquiring an in-depth understanding of legal matters, before beginning my further studies as an IP consultant. In the years to follow I was entrusted with numerous cases in IP Litigation. Thereafter, once successfully passed the Italian and European Patent Attorney bar Examination and the Italian and European Trademark Attorney bar examination as well, I continued to build my expertise as an expert in IP matters in Italy and my own professional network around the world. Actually, I always relish connecting with like-minded professionals internationally. My roles with Ipser and Praxi IP were in fact key chapters in the progression of my career. These periods honed in me the ability to 'think global and act local’ when it comes to my understanding and engagement with issues in global IP law. When away from work I spend time with family and friends, and ride mountain bikes, and I am currently learning German to complement my native Italian and professional English language skills.
