About Ede Chan

Dr Ede Chan, FRICS is being engaged as an Academic and Management Professional / Construction Programme Leader in Hong Kong statuatory organisation. He is responsible for all aspects of Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) course development and academic leadership. Before he joined the academia, Dr Chan was an experienced Contracts Engineer in MTR Corporation and the Senior Team Leader and SQS in the developer and the various international consultancies (e.g. Langdon & Seah). In the professional aspects, he has gained extensive pre-contract and post-contract QS and PM experience in Building, Civil & E&M sectors. Some of the involved landmark projects are highlighted as follow- MTRC railway projects (new line) in Express Railway (XRL), Shatin to Central Line (SCL), Kwun Tong Extension (KTE)(2009 to 2015)- The HK Airport Authority project for P247 Initial Midfield Development and Future Automatic People Mover (APM) Extension (2014)- The Sand's Venetian Macao Casino - Four Seasons Hotel - Resort project Parcel 2 (2005-2007)- The Goldin Tianjin Metropolitan including the Goldin Finance 117 super high-rise building, Twin Towers, 6-star Hotel & Convention Centre and High-end shopping Facilities etc.
