About Me I am a Primary School Teacher with over 23 years’ experience, passionate about education, creativity, and empowering people through learning. Alongside my teaching career, I have founded and led several major community-inspired projects that have shaped Waterford’s cultural landscape, including: Waterford Walls – Ireland’s largest international street art festival, transforming public spaces into vibrant cultural destinations. New Street Gardens – an award-winning urban regeneration project creating a community green space in the heart of the city. Hoopla on the Hill – a creative community event celebrating local talent and imagination. My latest venture is Street Art Ink, a social enterprise built to drive projects that combine art, education, and sustainability. The flagship initiative under Street Art Ink is Floating Voices: Eco Educational Barge Programme — an ambitious, collaborative project that brings together artists, scientists, educators, and communities to address climate action and sustainability in innovative and creative ways. Floating Voices is more than a project; it’s a movement designed to amplify voices from the ground up, create meaningful dialogue, and inspire positive change for our future.
