Background
About Eden Dulka
I am a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Michigan in the Department of Human Genetics investigating the genetics of male infertility, which a particular focus on genes involved in spermatogenesis. I have had a long-standing interest in reproduction and the mechanisms underlying infertility, since the time I was a veterinary assistant learning clinical aspects of reproductive medicine. My graduate training focused on understanding neuronal mechanisms that drive reproductive development before puberty and how these were altered in a mouse model of infertility. During my graduate training I became well versed in patch clamp and whole animal physiology techniques. I am now leveraging my background in animal and molecular physiology with bioinformatics and molecular genetics techniques to gain a better understanding of genetic mechanisms underlying male reproductive function.
