About Eden White

Eden began her career as a singer/songwriter when she graduated from Tufts University. After a brief post-bacc stint at Harvard intent on becoming a pediatrician, she gave it up and moved to New York to write/play/perform in New York City venues. In 1998, after gaining momentum and a grassroots following of thousands, she won the Lilith Fair competition in New York and was fortunate enough to perform with and open for many of my musical heroines such as Sarah McLachlan, the Indigo Girls, Dido, Joan Osborne and Beth Hart. As a result, she was signed to Touchwood/Zero Hour which released "This Is The Way" internationally. She released her second album,"What Really Matters" in Prior to this she also served as Music Director for various projects including School House Rock, Live! at the Atlantic Theatre and Lamb's Theatre in NYC and the USO Broadway Tour in Japan. She has also embraced the business side of the entertainment industry at companies such as BMG, Capitol and Blue Note Records, nmost notably A&R Administering Norah Jones debut Album,"Come Away With Me". After a brief hiatus giving birth to her two beautiful daughters and receiving her Masters in music education and marketing, she re-entered the education world. She is currently teaching Music at Portledge in Locust Valley, NY and working on a musical. She also continues to compose original music for various film documentaries, solo artists and projects.
