About Eder Campuzano

I'm a general assignment reporter for the Star Tribune, the largest daily newspaper in the state of Minnesota. I cover the mid-morning shift for the Today Desk, a ragtag group of reporters from across the newsroom tasked with paving the way for its digital future. That means getting an early jump on the stories that will make our readers the most interesting people at the watercooler.(Or, you know, the Slack workspace.) I also write Essential Minnesota, the Star Tribune's flagship newsletter. That means I get to promote the phenomenal work my colleagues produce day-in and day-out and provide our readers with everything they need to be the most interesting person at the water cooler. We reach more than people every day! I previously covered K-12 education for the paper, a beat I also worked at The Oregonian in Portland. I spent my college years writing and editing for two award-winning publications: The Torch at Lane Community College and The Emerald at the University of Oregon.
