About Edgar Ramirez

I am from Colombia, and I have been a language teacher for over 20 years. I have taught English, Spanish, and French. I have a bachelor's degree in language teaching from the Universidad Industrial de Santander in Bucaramanga, Colombia. I graduated from the Master of Science in Leadership and Educational Administration study program at Capella University in 2020. I have worked on research projects involving new technologies applied to education with Texas A&M in Commerce, Texas. I have presented the results of the research projects at conventions organized by region 10 in Texas. Throughout my career, I have served as an instructor of the use of new technologies applied to education, I have been the head chair of the foreign languages department and collaborated with projects that involve the exchange and inclusion of cultural activities in my community. At this moment, I have been selected as a candidate for the Mesquite ISD Leadership Academy and I have also served as a substitute administrator in the school I currently work. Aside from my main role as a teacher, I am a fitness instructor, health coach, motivational coach, and online language teacher.
