About Edgar Silva

Hey there I lead the Design team at COFICAB, one of the world's largest manufacturers of automotive cables, operating in over 22 countries and driving innovation in mobility solutions. I'm responsible for shaping and evolving the global brand strategy and visual identity, ensuring consistency across markets while creating meaningful connections through Design. My journey started at the intersection of Design, Product, and Marketing, but it was in Branding and creative leadership that I found my true path. I’ve founded a Design studio, taught in higher education, and received national Design awards. But it’s been in fast-paced, multicultural environments where I’ve grown the most. From editorial and digital Design to R&D and communication strategy, I’ve always focused on giving brands a clear voice and a strong presence. Outside of work, I mentor early-career designers and enjoy riding motorcycles, staying active through sports, and finding balance in peaceful moments with my family.
