About Edgaras Rancans

Hello You, I am 28 years old master's student with a major in computer science. In bachelor's degree studies I have acquired fundamental knowledge of object-oriented C++ programming, Java, scripting in bash with C#, game development with UNITY, and a bunch of media manipulation tools. In my master's degree studies, I have kept this versatile path learning cloud computing, project management, digital media processing, cryptography, and cyber security. At Festo I have mostly dealt with CAD tasks by delivering assemblies and manufacturing drawings to the customers. Additionally, I was responsible for maintaining several Sharepoint sites. During my free time I have managed to create a software tool with C#, to help track our service project times, and a couple of others smaller scale projects. Also, I have participated in successful pilot projects, to expand our service scope. Current position at Dematic as a software commissioning engineer for Gousto F4 and Kering projects. With the power of Dematic iQ Optimize interface, I am responsible for a last step in a warehouse before the production - to test the system. Search for bugs, issues, spaces for improvement, in a short form - just to make the system ready for the final acceptance tests. Have a nice day!
