About Edison Skinner

The desire to pursue creative collaboration has always informed my path. I am an enthusiastic professional who is driven by a deep curiosity and love of the human condition. As a journalism student at the University of King’s College in Halifax, I learned how to communicate with intention and specificity, as well as to think creatively and to multitask under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines. Acting in several plays, creating a guerrilla theatre troupe and producing a web series about craft beer probably taught me just as much as my degree. These creative endeavours provided major learning experiences that have tested and honed my flexibility and problem-solving skills. This has served me well in my current role as Territory Sales Manager for Black Bellows Brewing, a new and growing craft brewery where I have implemented strategic sales methods and built solid business partnerships using my people-first approach. In addition to my full-time job, I am also the producer and co-host of a weekly podcast,"Talk Movie To Me", where my strength in creative collaboration is showcased. I am a life-learner and I am currently filling my knowledge vaults by taking classes in Screenwriting and also Mindfulness.
