As the Manager of Regulatory Affairs and Food Safety at Sobeys, I lead workstreams and act as a subject matter expert in the interpretation and implementation of regulations associated with food labels. With over 16 years of experience in the retail industry, I have a strong background in food safety, food regulatory affairs, and food and beverage. I hold the CP-FS (Certified Professional in Food Safety) and the PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications, which demonstrate my proficiency and credibility in these domains. I am passionate about driving for results and achieving goals, as well as leading and collaborating with project teams. I have received multiple awards for my leadership and performance, including the Best Store Support Employee in 2015 and the Food Safety Leadership Award in 2021. I am skilled in communication, problem-solving, and customer service, and I use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data. I have a bachelor's degree in biotechnology from Université de Sherbrooke, which gives me an edge in understanding and applying the latest scientific and technological innovations in my field.
