In an ever-changing industry where creativity and advertising co-exist, it is nearly impossible to balance both aesthetic & market relevancy in one press ad on a deadline due yesterday. Nearly. But this is where good project and client management comes in handy :) By re-introducing integrity and processes into the management of creative projects, I believe there is more than just a yes-man agency, but rather a strong collaborative partnership that would eventually grow roots and sustain in the long run. Coming from a digital marketing background in my earlier days, I used to manage social accounts, emulate brand voices and run social campaigns from a variety of accounts that exposed me to understand brand communication and account servicing better. Social accounts that I used to manage religiously were Madam Kwans, Superdry, La Senza, Robinsons, Damansara Uptown and Tune Hotels. The experience I had in content creation, basic photography, campaign planning and client servicing inspired me to explore further into the creative realm. Currently spearheading a growing team of Account Executives, my role oversees creative projects that ranges from branding, publication works and marketing campaigns all planned and managed in an old fashioned professional yet timely manner. At INKA, I have gotten the opportunity to work with some of the most talented creatives and production partners that got me familiarize in prints, paper, fabric, interior design, video production and photography. This constantly flexed my aesthetic sense and strategic thinking to be on par with the creatives that improved my communication with clients to ensure the delivery of work is a proud job well done that doesn't just go pass as mediocre. Some notable accounts that I have managed are Aurum Theatre @ Golden Screen Cinemas, Opero Hotel @ Southkey Properties, Yayasan Sime Darby, NCT Group, British American Tobacco Malaysia and KDU University. It is an eye-opening experience that I am eager to gain more exposure, share thoughts and lead a team that hopefully sees value of good work being recognized. On a less serious note, I am still human outside work. With a mild obsession to fitness, I am a gym rat on a constant food hunt with places that are legit good and not just Instagrammable.
